Immortals: 2011

Immortals is an upcoming 2011 3D action-adventure fantasy film directed by Tarsem Singh and starring Henry Cavill, Freida Pinto, and Mickey Rourke. The film was previously named Dawn of War and War of the Gods before being officially named Immortals and is loosely based on the Greek myth of Theseus and the Minotaur and the Titanomachy.
It is set to be released in Real D 3D and Digital 3D on November 11, 2011 by Relativity Media and Universal Pictures.
Plot
Years after the Titanomachy, the Titan Hyperion (Mickey Rourke) declares war on humanity. He searches for the Epirus Bow, a legendary weapon created by the war god Ares (Daniel Sharman), which will allow him to free the rest of the Titans from Tartarus and take revenge on the Olympians who brought about their downfall. In accordance with ancient laws, the gods are unable to take a side in the war between Hyperion and humanity. It is left to a peasant named Theseus (Henry Cavill), chosen by Zeus (Luke Evans) and accompanied by the priestess Phaedra (Freida Pinto) and a slave (Stephen Dorff), to protect his homeland and save the gods.

Underworld: Awakening: 2012

Underworld: Awakening (also known as Underworld 4) is an upcoming American 3D action-horror film set to be released on January 20, 2012. Underworld: Awakening is the second sequel in the Underworld series with Rise of the Lycans being the prequel to the first film Underworld and Evolution being the first sequel. Måns Mårlind and Björn Stein are directing the film with a screenplay by Len Wiseman, John Hlavin, and Allison Burnett. Tom Rosenberg, Gary Lucchesi, Len Wiseman, and Richard Wright are producing the film with David Kern, David Coatsworth, Henry Winterstern, and Skip Williamson serving as executive producers. Kate Beckinsale will reprise her role as Selene from Underworld and Underworld: Evolution, while Michael Ealy and India Eisley have been cast in roles new to the series. Filming began in March 2011 in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Plot

On April 4, 2011, Screen Gems released the following synopsis:
"Kate Beckinsale, star of the first two films, returns in her lead role as the vampire warrioress Selene, who escapes imprisonment to find herself in a world where humans have discovered the existence of both Vampire and Lycan clans, and are conducting an all-out war to eradicate both immortal species."

    Plot
    After she is betrayed on a mission in Barcelona, freelancing Covert Operative Mallory Kane (Carano) is forced to protect her family and go after those who betrayed her.

      FootLoose 2011

      Footloose is an upcoming 2011 American dance film directed by Craig Brewer. It is remake of the 1984 film of the same name and stars Kenny Wormald, Julianne Hough, Dennis Quaid, and Andie MacDowell. Filming started in September 2010 in Georgia and ended in November 2010 for a scheduled released date of October 14, 2011.

      Shaolin

      Shaolin, also known as The New Shaolin Temple, is a 2011 film directed by Benny Chan, starring Andy Lau, Nicholas Tse, Wu Jing, Xing Yu, and Fan Bingbing, with a special appearance by Jackie Chan. It is an updated version of Jet Li's film debut, The Shaolin Temple.

      The Amazing Spider-Man

      The Amazing Spider-Man, also known as The Amazing Spider-Man 3D, is an upcoming American superhero film based on the comic book of the same name that is currently in post-production. It is the fourth Columbia Pictures film based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man and the first film in a rebooted Spider-Man film franchise. The film is being directed by Marc Webb. The cast includes Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy and Rhys Ifans as Dr. Curt Connors. The film will portray Peter Parker as he is developing his super powers in high school. It is scheduled to be released in 3D and IMAX 3D on July 3, 2012.

      Spider-Man co-creator Stan Lee has a cameo, as he did in the previous films, which will involve him in an action scene and which he referred to as his "best, most unusual one yet!"[14] At the 2011 Dallas Comic-Con, Lee enthusiastically talked about his cameo. He will play a librarian listening to music on his headphones while stamping books and dancing at the same time, despite the on-going fight between Spider-Man and The Lizard.
